Happenings in Cedar

I found my new boyfriend. I shall call him..uh,..Nutcracker?
I have loved living in this cute little house for the last year and a half. Although we've had a few problems with it this year we still love it!
I was walking home one day, and I realized that every single person at our house has a gray car. I thought it was really funny. haha
Happy 22nd Birthday Shaye!!! (October 11th...)
What'd you wish for?
You know those days when you have too much to do (homework, cleaning, practicing, homework, homework), and then instead of doing any of it you drive of the canyon to see the pretty leaves instead? Yeah, I know exactly what that's like. That's what Geneil and I did on beautiful afternoon. This is us on the "C" mountain in Cedar with Cedar City behind us.
I love it here. We drove all the way to the top of the mountain to go exploring/try to find my Uncle's cabin, but we decided to turn back due to the fact my car was getting slightly hot.

Happenings on Campus

Have you ever wondered what really happens in the music building?
Two people in a box?
Wait! Three? ...It was only a little squishy...

Now folks, this is what happens when you never get a lunch break. Yes, I am in class. Yes, you do see a whole jar of peanut butter. Yes, that is a pop tart, an apple, and a bag of vanilla wafers. I'm pretty sure I had a string cheese too. I'm healthy though, I washed it all down with water. :)

My Family

Clear back in September we took some family pictures...so I figured it's about time to post them. I have a cute family.

More YPM's!!!

The next YPM get together we had this fall was the back to school BBQ in September. Everyone was able to be there!!! (except for the 3 Elders who had already gone into the MTC.)

These are my beautiful sisters. I love them all with my whole heart. I realized this is the first picture that I've actually posted of all of them. I should start posting all my Nauvoo pictures. From the back left; Sister Ricks, Barrientos, Jones, Bingham, Solomon, Murdock, Reynders, Chambers, Carmichael, and Mckay.

me and my beautiful companion dear Sister McKay
This one is for you Elder Camp. :)
At the BBQ I got a bunch of videos that I should have gotten in Nauvoo, but I didn't. They "crack me up like a broken glass."

These are some of the funniest people I have ever met in my whole life. The first one is Sister Reynders. How she can pull that voice out of her beautiful self is beyond me. Next you have Gloria and Iris (aka Elder Strausser and Sister McKay) They would sit and have the most ridiculous conversations acting as southern grandmothers. It is hysterical. Sister Ricks...Oh man, she if funny. She is acting as Kiko in this video. Sister McKay had a different voice/person for everyday of the week. Friday was LaShawn. So in this video you will meet LaShawn.

YPM's!!!

I think one of the highlights of the semester was when all the YPM's came down to St. George/Hurricane for Elder Steglich's full time mission farewell. It was so fun to see all of them! They drove this bus down from Salt Lake. It's hilarious. I wish I could have been in the party bus.

We went to dinner that night at this place in St. George called Pirates Pizza something rather. I don't really remember, but it was lots of fun. It was all themed, and had an arcade and everything.

Sis. Murdock and Sis. Camp (They really aren't wench's, they just like to pretend)
This reminded me of that one part in Harry Potter when the night bus comes to pick him up and this in hanging in the front of the bus. I want one for my van.
Sis Murdock, Elder Lewis, and Sis Solomon
Sis Murdock and me
waiting for our pizza....
Sis Bingham, Sis Ricks, and me
arg. we are scary pirates.
This is one of my favorite pictures. So obviously the Elders weren't allowed to be alone with a sister in Nauvoo, but here we are all alone (not in Nauvoo). I guess it isn't really all that funny, but I like it. :) Here is Lewis, Shepherd, Ellsworth, Sheffield, and Guthrie. Maybe I should call them by their first names. I just love their last names so much.
Elder Steglich (who is still Elder Steglich. He just left the MTC and got to Armenia last week!)

Another semester has come to pass.

It's hard to believe I'm halfway through my junior year. I thought that I knew what I was doing with my life, but now I don't really know. I hate it when you think you're doing what you're supposed to and then something happens that causes you to question everything. ah! Oh well, that's life I suppose. Well since I didn't do a very good job at keeping this updated throughout the semester, I am going to try and do a little updating and share with you some of the fun things I did. I guess I'll start with the most recent. Finals ended on Friday!!! I thought it would never come, but it did. Cedar City does the Messiah annually the weekend after SUU ends. I have played in the orchestra the last couple of years, but decided to sing in the 170 person choir this year with my roommates.

Geneil's family came up from California to hear her sing a solo (which, by the way was freaking incredible), and to take her back for Christmas.

The Wonderful Perkins Family. (I'm a honorary Perkins. :) )

The amazing Kiki (she really is amazing)
Geneil and Annie :)
Annie and Taliah :)
Shaye and Annie :)
Shaye, Annie, Geneil and me
Annie's sister Heidi, Annie and Geneil
Annie and me :)
Heather plays the cello in the orchestra. She's also in my ward. I really like her.

So you may be asking why so many pictures of Annie? Well, that was the last time we will see her...for a year and a half (there were only a few tears, right Geneil?)...as great as that is, it is also sad. We love Annie so much! She will be leaving for her mission on Dec 29th for the Slovenia/Croatia mission Slovenia speaking!!!! Annie I love you! I have always looked up to you. You are so good. A good person, and amazingly good at everything. You will be an incredible missionary!
This is Annie celebrating her 21st birthday with some chocolate cake, of course we're at the Pastry Pub. :)

I'm so glad we got this video of Annie. I love her!!! See you in 18 months!

H2O

You know what I hate? The fact you're supposed to drink half your body weight in ounces of water everyday. Then you're looking for a bathroom every hour. Does it look like I have time to find a bathroom between every class? No. I don't. Ok. I'm done. That's my vent for the day. Oh by the way. Just in case you didn't know. Today is the last day of classes, and I'm not in a very good mood. Have a good day. Drink your water.
