Adventure #3

Babysitting. I love kids and I love babysitting. I have never tried to babysit 7 kids at one time with 5 of them under the age of 6 and two twins that were only 8ish weeks. So fun. Such an adventure. I have so much respect for mothers. It is crazy. I would of died if both my sister's hadn't been there. I had one baby. Jenny had the other and Cammy had the other 5. haha
These kids are some of my favorite kids in the whole world. They are the kids of my favorite babysitter from growing up. They live in Texas so we don't get to see them very often, but it's is always so fun when they're here! I'm just going to brag on Tina for a minute. She is seriously so amazing. I love reading her blog because she is the most incredible mom. I've wanted to be just like her since I was little and that still stands today! She values motherhood for what it is. She is always trying to be the best mom in the world. She does the most fun little activities with her kids and her husband. She was the best babysitter in the whole world and I so glad that I get to babysit her kids now. I'll have her girls babysit my kids in a few years. :)

Me and beautiful baby Ellie.Me and CloeyI am so glad they got to bless their babies here where all their family is. I'm holding Drew and Cammy has Ellie. :) Aren't they just so cute!

I hope it's ok I posted this picture of your beautiful family Tina....I love you guys!

Adventure #2

This second adventure is a continuing one..Once upon a time I played at The Barn in Mapleton with one of the band's I used to play with in high school. A boy was there. (This was June 11th. I only remember because it was the day my grandma died 14 years ago.) A mutual friend from SUU had kind of set us up and so I kind of sort of invited him to the concert... I think he only liked me because I had my cowboy boots and hat on. :) Well, that was almost 3 months ago. Long story short. We're still dating. :) Long distance. :( Me and Camron at Snowbird on July 9th. (Now I only remember this because it's my dad's birthday and I had to hurry back for his birthday dinner.)
There was an archery tournament thingy that weekend up at Snowbird and he invited me along to watch him and his brother and a friend shoot. Of course Camron won out of those 3. :) If you look really close you can see the Jordan River Temple and the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. It was so beautiful up there. At the top of the tram there was still 6 feet of snow! I was really proud of my snowman in the middle of summer. :) .

Summer Adventures...Part 1

As you have probably figured out already I am really, like really bad at updating my blog. You would hardly even know that I exist, let alone know that I had an incredible summer! So I will start to share with you my summer, adventure by adventure. :) Adventure #1 DISNEYLAND! 4 girls+1 squishy Honda+Disneyland+1 crappy hotel+staying at the Myers and the Perkins+a really long time in the car=one of the best road trips ever! We took my new little car. The "Silver Dot" is her name, after the "Silver Bullet." But we call her Dot for short. Isn't she so cute?!

And the memories began....

Tea anyone?

In the ferris wheel. I hate the ferris wheel. It is the scariest ride. ever. You can't even tell I'm about to die huh?

Who went? Cammy, my sister. Me. Laura, one of my best friend's from high school and Ashlee, one of Cammy's best friend's from high school. Talk about hysterical people. Oh. My. Gosh. We laughed the entire time. I wish I could say I ate that whole turkey leg by myself...but I didn't.

It's not always fair that I know where all the camera's are on the rides because then I get to choose what face goes on the picture. :)

Laura, me, Cammy, Ashlee

My other sister Jenny and my mom randomly turned up at Disneyland the same time we did! How random is that?!.....just kidding. We actually were stalkers and we followed the orchestra tour bus down to Disneyland. Jenny was playing with SHS's orchestra at Disney's Magic Music Days. I did this in high school two different years and it was a blast. My mom is the amazing tour director so she got to go too!

I had never seen the hidden Snow White statues or the magic wishing well! I was ashamed of myself! They have this new show at California Adventure that is my new (it was new in June. I may or may not have a new obsession since then...) it's called World of Colors. It's this light/water/fire/watch parts of movie on spraying water/color show of awesomeness. I didn't even go see the fireworks at Disneyland because I loved this show so much and had to see it twice!

What do you look like after 3 days at Disneyland? :)

RIP Silver Bullet

I had quite the emotional departure with my dear mini van, The Silver Bullet. Feel free to laugh at me all you want. I will truly miss this great van that I was lucky enough to have for almost 2 and a half years. I became the lucky owner halfway through my freshman year, and he lasted through my junior year. It got me to many places near and far, well, mostly near. You will be missed by all. Here is a eulogy that Sister Carmichael wrote for the silver bullet in her last letter from Canada. It goes as followss: Silver Bullet was beloved of many despite old age and stubborness preventing my Jonesy to come to Provo at times. I have wonderful memories with Silver Bullet and will be forever grateful for providing rides, containing laughter, absorbing gas, helping me see Jonesy and protecting her fromt he harsh Utah elements and insane drivers. May your metal be donated to a good cause. RIP.

Thank you Lanae, that was beautiful. I am hoping to get at least a car payment and a half out of the scrap metal. I tried many times this last semester to find the true problem to the
Bullet's sickness and just kept running into more diseases, and I ran out of money. So, I opted to buy a new (well, a new to me) car. You will be introduce to her in the next post. :)
